Salmon Canape Bites

Salmon Canape Bites

We are still enjoying summer poolside and I love to have my friends over several times a month to sip cocktails and have appetizers. I have learned to let the girls bring some of the goodies… but I also like to have a few goodies of my own. So here is a little snack I made for one of our poolside afternoons.

Salmon Canape Bites
1 6-8 oz package of Smoked Salmon
bread bites or rye bread bites
1/2 package 8 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup fresh chopped dill
1/4 cup fresh chopped chives
1/4 cup fresh chopped flat leaf parsley
1 English cucumber sliced very thin
1 Tablespoon minced or grated onion
salt & pepper to taste
salt cured capers
Everything Bagel Seasoning

In a bowl mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, herbs, onion and salt & pepper to taste. Lightly toast the bread for about 8 minutes on 375°. Top each piece of bread with the cream cheese mixture, a few salt cured capers, a thin slice of salmon, a thin slice of cucumber and top with a sprinkle of Everything Bagel Seasoning. Delicious!

Delicious! Enjoy!
