Pumpkin Walnut Oatmeal: Revisited

A delicious breakfast that I first shared back in 2016 and it’s the perfect one to share again today since Thanksgiving is just a few days away…Pumpkin, walnuts, cinnamon & dried cranberries…with these scrumptious ingredients you can get a head-start on that special day! Hope you and your family have a wonderful week! Enjoy…

Pumpkin Walnut Oatmeal
1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
2 cups 1% milk
1/2 cup pumpkin purée
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
dash nutmeg
walnuts & dried cranberries

In a medium saucepan heat the oats, milk, pumpkin purée, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg until the mixture comes to a boil; reduce heat to low and simmer about five minutes, stirring constantly.

Pour into bowls. Top with walnuts, dried cranberries and a dash of cinnamon & sugar.

Enjoy!
