Every Christmas Eve we gather in front of the fireplace and indulge in yummy appetizers and play boardgames. It’s an annual tradition we have been enjoying for almost 35 years…this year I made this deliciously cheesy crab dip….it’s a spin on the Crab Muffins I usually make. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!
Cheesy Crab Dip
16 oz Premium Crab Meat
5 oz Old English Cheese Spread
1/2 cup softened butter
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon Chesapeake Bay Style Seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
crackers of choice
Heat oven to 400°F. In a large mixing bowl, combine crab meat with the cheese spread, butter, mayonnaise, and seasonings. Hand-mix until fully incorporated. Spread into a shallow baking dish. Bake 25-30 minutes. Serve hot on your favorite crackers. Serves 6-8.
