My Hubby came home early yesterday for a long lunch. So while he was taking a dip in the pool I decided to serve him a little lunch poolside. For an easy go to pizza I like to use Naan bread so I always keep some in the freezer. Also the garden has begun to produce some nice green peppers so I just thought… Stuffed Pepper Pizza. Super quick and easy and we were both enjoying lunch poolside!
Stuffed Pepper Pizza
1 Tbs olive oil
2 pieces Naan bread
6 oz ground beef
1/2 large onion, diced
2 green peppers, diced
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 cup Pecorino cheese, grated
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp onion powder
salt & pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 350 °F. In a skillet heat the olive oil and sauté the onions and peppers until almost soft. Add the ground beef, Italian seasoning, garlic salt, onion powder and a dash of salt & pepper. Cook until beef is cooked through. Place the Naan bread on a cookie sheet and sprinkle on some of the cheddar cheese. Top each piece of bread with half of the pepper and beef mixture. Top with the remaining cheese. Heat in the oven until the cheese is melted, about 15 – 20 minutes. Slice and eat. Delicious!
Enjoy!
