In our quest to eat healthier ground turkey has become a staple in the house. For today’s post I’m sharing this juicy California Turkey Burger…


California Turkey Burger

…Juicy & Delicious!



California Turkey Burger
1/2 lb ground turkey
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
extra virgin olive oil
2-4 slices of Cooper Sharp Cheddar American Cheese
fresh salad greens
sliced tomatoes
thinly sliced red onion
Marzetti Simply Dressed Avocado Ranch
Burger Buns (if desired)

Sprinkle the ground turkey with the garlic powder, salt, paprika and pepper. Very gently combine & shape into two burgers. Heat a cast iron skillet; drizzle with a little bit of olive oil. Cook turkey burgers ~5-6 on each side on medium heat (or until desired doneness). Lay cheese slices on burgers and allow cheese to melt. Place cooked turkey burgers on salad greens and dress with tomatoes & red onion slices. Top with Avocado Ranch Dressing (alternately serve on burger buns if desired). Makes 2 servings.
