Roasted Garlic White Pizza

Roasted Garlic White Pizza 3

I used to get this pizza in Philadelphia and I loved it. No shortage on garlic -it was really good. Well I was thinking about it this week and decided I would try to make it how I remembered it. Mission accomplished!

Roasted Garlic White Pizza
Thawed pizza or bread dough
2 cups ricotta cheese
1/4 cup chopped roasted garlic
1/4 sliced garlic
1 Tbs dried oregano
1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
1 egg
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic salt
1 lb fresh Mozzarella cheese sliced
1 cup fresh basil
salt & pepper to taste
1/3 cup olive oil

Preheat the oven to 425 °F. Mix the ricotta, roasted garlic, oregano, 1/2 the Parmesan cheese, garlic salt, egg and pepper in a bowl. Roll out the pizza dough to fit your pan. Spoon on the ricotta mixture over the dough making sure not to go over the edges. Place the Mozzarella cheese all over the pizza. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese, fresh cut up basil, sliced garlic, salt & pepper and olive oil all around the top of the pie. Bake for 25 – 35 minutes. Delicious!

Enjoy!
