Brussels Sprouts with Applewood Smoked Bacon

I first had these yummy Brussels Sprouts at a Redstone Grill a while ago and made a note to myself to make them for Thanksgiving this year…so here’s my version…they turned out superb! Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Brussels Sprouts with Applewood Smoked Bacon
5 slices Applewood Smoked Bacon, diced
2 – 10 oz pkgs Brussels Sprouts, trimmed
2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
2 tablespoons pure honey
salt & fresh ground pepper

Cook the diced bacon in a large cast iron skillet until crispy; remove from skillet and reserve. Remove most of the bacon fat, leaving about 2 tablespoons. Sauté the trimmed Brussels Sprouts about 10 minutes on medium heat. Add the apple cider vinegar and continue to sauté another 10 minutes or until Brussels Sprouts are tender; seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and drizzle honey on the Brussels Sprouts. Serve immediately. Serves 4.

Enjoy!
