Because we are creatures of discovery and experiment, I decided to include you in my latest adventure. Always buying my fish already cleaned and ready for cooking by my wonderful fish monger, I thought when I bought this beautiful red snapper that after asking for the scales to be removed I could simply stuff it and presto… It was not so! Lol…
Me Casa Su Casa Red Snapper
1 Red Snapper
1 Tbs olive oil
2 Tbs butter
1 lemon sliced
1 clove garlic minced
salt & pepper to season
How to fillet a Red Snapper – Needless to say I gave it my best try and it tasted wonderful, but I am no professional…Heat the olive oil in a skillet. Season the fish with salt and pepper. Add the garlic and the Red Snapper skin side down to the hot oil.
Sear the fish on the skin side for about 4 or 5 minutes. Flip the fish, add a pad of butter on each filet and cover for 2 minutes.
Serve with lemon for squirting and eat! Delicious!
Enjoy!
