Heidi and I are thrilled with all the support from our fellow bloggers! You’re all so wonderful! Over the last few months we’ve been privileged to be nominated for more LEIBSTER AWARDS, VERSATILE BLOGGER AWARDS, SISTERHOOD OF THE WORLD AWARDS, INFINITY DREAMS AWARD, CREATIVE BLOGGER AWARDS, THE SUNSHINE BLOGGER AWARDS and DRAGON LOYALTY AWARDS.

Since we were nominated by so many different people we are selecting 10 questions out of all the questions asked by our nominators and answering below:

1) List 3 of your favorite online shopping websites – Macys, Amazon & Nordstrom
2) Which is your favorite summer drink? Linda loves Sangria of course!
3) What would you settle for, a good walk or a nice bed to take a nap in? Heidi loves a good walk on a sunny day with a nice cool breeze
4) With age comes…….respect OR wisdom? Hopefully both…with wisdom comes respect (and that includes respect for one’s self)
5) What’s your favorite dessert and/or candy? Linda loves Tres Leches Cake and Heidi’s favorite is Creme Brulee
6) Do you have kids, and if so how many? Linda has four boys; Heidi has one girl and two boys
7) Pick one: Blue, Purple, Orange, White, or Yellow – Yellow for Linda and White for Heidi
8) What are the 3 things you just cannot live without? Both of us agree we cannot live without our bible, delicious food (Heidi will even drive two hours for her favorite roast beef sandwich!) and music
9) Do you prefer a home-cooked meal, or to go out to a restaurant? A restaurant-style meal cooked at home with a glass of wine

3. Heidi loves to write poetry and is attempting her first novel

5. Heidi loves to sing jazz, mostly around the house, sometimes in public
6. Linda loves Thanksgiving as that is the time when all of the family gets together in one place to celebrate life

1. In one word, how would you like your readers to describe your blog? Delicious!
2. What, who inspires most of your blog posts? What we’re in the mood for
3. What do you inspire to accomplish this year? We want to create a cookbook!
4. Who is your female role model? In our family we are surrounded by strong, talented women
5. On the bad days, how do you cheer yourself up? Linda would read a good book, watch a favorite movie or play the piano…Heidi would exercise hard then go out for wine and lunch with a friend
6. Which is your favourite food? Pasta
7. How much do you value ‘silence’? Priceless

10.If you had to choose between being lactose intolerance or gluten intolerance, which one would you rather have? (Linda) Lactose – because Almond and Soy Milks are very tasty but bread is hard to live without! (Heidi) Gluten I think because I love my fromage!

7 questions:
1) Blogging to you is..? A new adventure and a job that we love (most of the time)
2) What is your biggest pet peeve?Heidi’s pet peeve is the way people pronounce February like Febuary – I know it sounds crazy but it bothers me that so few people pronounce it correctly!!
3) What is your idea of a perfect weekend? Linda’s idea of a perfect weekend is a beautiful sunny but not too hot day, that includes a morning bike or run followed by a barbecue outside on the patio with her family followed up with an outside movie night!
4) According to you what color represents you? Heidi wears mostly white and black because the styles for those colors are always more fashionable, but since I feel like the princess my husband always calls me, I suppose purple is a better fit.
5) What is your favorite cuisine or dish? Linda enjoys Latin food and pasta; Heidi loves American Graffiti
