During our recent visit to NYC, Heidi and I visited Eataly on 5th Avenue to peruse their Italian goods. We both picked up this Busiate pasta and made a plan to each make something different with it…so, for today’s meal I roasted some butternut squash (Zucca) and cooked up some mild Italian sausage (Salsiccia) seasoned with a touch of nutmeg …added a white wine-cream sauce and voilà! I made my Decadent Lasagna With Bolognese for Christmas Dinner this year along with a whole ham. There was about a half a sheet left because I always make too much. Oh well! My son graduated and we threw a huge party this weekend. It was so hot and everyone was going to be in and around the pool. I didn’t want any mayonnaise based dressings so I opted for a vinegar based dressing.
