I love a good Gyro and when I found the gyro meat package at Sam’s Club I was all in! Wanting to make it a little lighter than the wrap, I opted for a salad instead. Busiate con Zucca & Salsiccia

During our recent visit to NYC, Heidi and I visited Eataly on 5th Avenue to peruse their Italian goods. We both picked up this Busiate pasta and made a plan to each make something different with it…so, for today’s meal I roasted some butternut squash (Zucca) and cooked up some mild Italian sausage (Salsiccia) seasoned with a touch of nutmeg …added a white wine-cream sauce and voilà! We spent Easter afternoon at the Country Club for their excellent and over the top buffet… A wonderful break for me to not have to cook. One of the many options to choose from was this delicious bite of Eggs Sardou. Both my Hubby and I liked so much that he asked me if I would recreate the dish at home for breakfast.
