Shrimp Ravioli & Garlic Lemon Butter

I’ve been making these little gems for about a year now and we LOVE them!!! They are super easy to make and a punch of flavor… My Hubby calls them his new favorite dinner. He even asked for them for his birthday dinner!!! I wanted to have shrimp scampi but also had some wonton wrappers that I wanted to use and I’ve cheated using wonton wrappers for ravioli before…. so why not shrimp?!

Shrimp Pad Thai

Pad Thai is so good! It is a stir-fried rice noodle dish commonly served in Thailand as part of the country’s cuisine. It is typically made with rice noodles and veggies along with either chicken, beef or shrimp. I made today’s quick stir fry with shrimp in about 20 minutes – so it’s perfect for either a quick lunch or dinner…

Baked Shrimp With A Lemon & Tarragon Mayonnaise: Revisited

Baked Shrimp With A Lemon & Tarragon Mayonnaise 1
Today I’m sharing a recipe I made back in 2018: “I like to entertain, but I do try to keep things simple. Baking the shrimp instead of boiling them takes way less time and ends up perfect every time.  Then, instead of the same old cocktail sauce (although I served that too), I made a mayonnaise-based sauce for dipping. My guests went crazy over it and the cocktail sauce was left untouched! The best part was that this time I got to share it first-hand with my Fabulous Fare Sister…Linda…she was there too! If you’re serving shrimp – try this method…and the sauce is better if made a day ahead, which is always nice…”  Continue reading

Herb Marinated Curly Shrimp with Fresh Dill Flowers: Revisited

Herb Marinated Curly Shrimp With Fresh Dill Flowers
Dill is again growing in wild abundance in my herb garden…so I’m revisiting a dish that is a perfect use of some that lovely dill…”One of the things I love about dill are the yellow flowering dill tops. These flowers are not only beautiful, but they are also edible. They have a very concentrated dill flavor and look stunning on any plate. If you have dill in your garden I encourage you to use the flowers. Just for fun and to impress my lunching friends I cut the shrimp in half lengthwise so when I cooked them they would curl up. It also creates a better bite for a salad or appetizer”…  Continue reading

Shrimp Quesadilla

Shrimp Quesadilla
I made these little treats as a hearty appetizer to serve pool side for a girls swim date…small tortillas make perfect little wedges when quartered. Both flour and corn were served – the corn was a gluten-free option for one of my guests who doesn’t eat flour. Serve these with your favorite toppings…I paired these Shrimp Quesadillas with lime cocktails along with a yummy Black Bean Salsa. Continue reading

Homemade Ricotta, Spinach and Shrimp Pizza With A Tarragon Lemon Aioli

Homemade Ricotta, Spinach & Shrimp Pizza
Whoops! I scheduled this to post last week by accident – so here it is again! 🙂

Do you ever have those days where it’s time to figure out lunch and when you look in the refrigerator all you have are lots of little containers of leftovers? Well, that is how this pizza came about. My Hubby loved it so much that he requested it again. This time I decided to share it with all of you. Continue reading

Rosemary Shrimp Skewers With Romesco Sauce

Rosemary Skewers With Romesco Sauce
Who doesn’t love brunch, and not just for the Mimosas and a yummy Bloody Mary! When I had a Brunch recently I wanted to serve the shrimp a little different than the usual cocktail; a way that would still impress, could be made in advance, be without much effort and still taste delicious. I remembered a shrimp dish I made a long time ago using rosemary stalks as the skewers. My garden still has lots of rosemary. I also had just made a big batch of roasted red peppers… Presto, the dish came together!!! Don’t you love when that happens? Continue reading
