During this time of isolation I’ve been working on a house to flip. I have an Interior Design background and since it’s not my nature to just sit at home, I bought a house to keep me busy. And busy it’s been. We closed April 30th and I have about a week still of work until it’s done completely. That being said, some nights when I get home I really don’t want to cook. Vietnamese Style Pho

I have to admit that three years ago I had NO idea what Pho was. Not until I took my son to Philadelphia for his 20th birthday did I find out. My son, (now 23) loves all things Asian and insisted we find Pho while we were in the city. I’m game to try practically anything, so we researched to find the best in the city! Cheesy Potato Soup

Sometimes you just need the comfort of Potato Soup. This soup is like eating a bowl of potatoes au gratin and who would pass up that. This is like the potato soup my Mum Mum used to make, but with the awesome addition of cheese and half and half instead of milk. It’s rich and creamy so a little goes a long way.   Continue reading
