Today we share the final recipe in the trio of Chef Nunzio’s Famous Gnocchi of Italy! As mentioned in previous posts, on Tuesday Chef Nunzio from Nunzio’s Restaurant in Collingswood, NJ joined us for Cooking with Nunzio. Chef Nunzio used fresh produce from the Collingswood Farmer’s Market – using many Jersey Fresh produce. The final recipe in the Famous Gnocchi of Italy Series on today’s menu: Gnocchi alla Romana with Amatriciana Sauce. A different take on the original – this gnocchi is shaped a little differently….but it’s not only gorgeous – it’s absolutely delicious!

Let me give you just a little background: My husband and I recently had the most wonderful experience…we were invited to join a group at Nunzio’s Restaurant in Collingswood, NJ where Chef Nunzio Patruno shares his passion for food during cooking classes. On this beautiful Saturday morning in June, Chef Nunzio brings us all along with him to the Collingswood Farmer’s Market to choose the fresh produce he uses for each class. The second restaurant in our Restaurant Review series is another fabulous restaurant that my husband and I visited during our recent vacation in London, England and Paris, France. Les Antiquaires is a charming French Cafe located at 13 rue de Bac 75007 Paris France. Just over the Pont Royal Bridge heading into the left bank. This delightful bistro is pure Parisian!

Heidi and I love to go to restaurants! In fact, many times we recreate the food we enjoy in restaurants and serve it to our families as we’ve already shown you in some of our previous posts such as Mushroom & Sausage Risotto, Classic Shrimp Scampi, Springtime Sangria, Crab Cake Sandwiches and Herb Roasted Marinated Chicken. In tribute to the many wonderful restaurants we visit we are adding a new series to our blog: Restaurant Review. To start off the series I will be sharing some fabulous restaurants that my husband and I visited during our recent vacation in London, England and Paris, France.
