Easter is quickly approaching and brunch is on the brain. I wanted to add a little something different to my Bloody Mary and I don’t mean the bacon… I started to experiment and I really like this version…
Smokey Chunky Bloody Mary
6 celery stalks with leaves
5+ oz jar of stuffed Spanish olives
1/2 sweet onion
1/4 cup Gochujang (Korean Red Chili Sauce)
1 cup horseradish
1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
3 anchovies
1 Tbs smoked paprika
1 large can good tomato juice
1 Tsp celery salt
Juice from one lemon
1 salt & pepper
Vodka (3 oz per low ball)
Place all the ingredients except the tomato juice in a powerful blender. Puree for about 2 minutes. Add to a pitcher along with the tomato juice. Add vodka and stir. Enjoy!
