Overnight Oats with Chocolate Chips

This has got to be one of the easiest breakfasts to prepare. Layer it all in a little mason jar, screw on the lid and pop in the fridge overnight. I added chocolate chips to these little gems but you can add anything – blueberries, strawberries, raspberries; use different types of yogurts, even drizzle on some honey…whatever you want…they all end up delicious!

Overnight Oats with Chocolate Chips
1/4 cup Quaker Old Fashioned Oats
1/4 cup Greek vanilla yogurt
1 heaping tablespoon chocolate chips
1/4 cup milk

Place the oats in the bottom of a mason jar. Layer on the yogurt then the chocolate chips. Pour in the milk. Screw on the lid and place in the fridge overnight (minimum 5 hours). That’s it!

Enjoy!

  1. Couldn’t agree more Linda – this is a go to brekky in our house. Have you also tried adding chia seeds (they are even more nutritious when soaked), psyllium husk (for added fibre) and even kefir (good bacteria)….just a few things I’ve tried that work well!
