Hard Boiled Eggs In White Sauce Over Multi Grain Bread
Just like Linda, I still have several hard boiled eggs to eat. So I made a breakfast my mom used to make a long time ago. It’s a simple and delicious breakfast over hearty multi grain bread. The bread adds a nice nutty crunch with the creamy egg sauce.

Hard Boiled Eggs In White Sauce
2-4 hard boiled eggs chopped
2 Tbs butter
1 Tbs flour
1 cup whole milk
1/4 cup Swiss cheese grated, (or any cheese)
1 Tbs fresh parsley
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
4 slices hearty grain bread toasted

Melt the butter in a sauce pan. Add the flour and cook for about a minute. Next add the milk, salt and pepper. Last stir in the cheese, eggs and parsley. Allow the sauce to thicken then pour it on toast and eat. Simple…

    1. I feel the same way… as a kid I would have hated the grainy bread, but now i love it! I add a little cheese too… the Swiss is a great addition.
