Today I am sharing a tasty chicken thigh dish with the flavors of Thai! Turmeric, chives, basil, ginger and soy sauce with honey added for sweetness and caramelization…another winner to add to the endless Chicken Repertoire!
Honey Thai Thighs
6-8 bone-in skinless chicken thighs
1/2 teaspoon chives
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon basil leaves
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon salt
fresh ground pepper
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire
2 limes
1/4 cup honey
a few fresh cilantro leaves
Place the thighs in a large bowl.Β Season the chicken with the chives, turmeric, basil, ginger, salt, pepper, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Zest the limes and squeeze the lime juice over the chicken. Drizzle with honey and add cilantro. Allow to marinate for ten minutes (up to 24 hours – I actually refrigerated mine overnight to intensify the flavors).
In a large skillet over medium high heat, cook the seasoned thighs 6-10 minutes on each side until cooked through.Β Garnish with more cilantro leaves. Juicy, tasty, delicious!
Enjoy!!
Linda~

I have close to the same dish marinating in the fridge right now. Hoping to grill them but it is raining outside. Great minds think alike.
