I don’t know where the original recipe came from, but Heidi shared this recipe years ago with the family and we’ve all been making these delicious Crab Muffins as appetizers ever since. They’ve become a true classic! Hope you’re able to give them a try…the upcoming Superbowl 50 on Sunday, February 7th may be just the day to make ’em…they’re not something you want to have if you’re on a diet – but are definitely decadently delicious and so easy to make…
Cheddar Crab Muffins
6 oz. can Fancy Crabmeat
1 stick softened butter
1/2 cup mayonnaise
5 oz Kraft Old English Cheddar Spread
1/4 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
6 English muffins, split
Heat oven to broil. In a large bowl, combine the crabmeat, butter, mayonnaise, cheddar spread, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, salt & pepper.Β Spread crab mixture on each English muffin half. Cut into quarters (thanks Mom for all your help!)
Place crab muffin quarters on a baking dish that has been covered with aluminum foil. Broil for 10 minutes (watch that it does not burn).Β Remove from oven and using a spatula, slide cooked Cheddar Crab Muffins off of baking dish immediately so they do not stick to the pan. Place onto serving tray or dish and serve piping hot. Yummy!
Enjoy!

I’m sure I will cos’ I love crabmeat in anything. I’m doing fine (could be a little better)…trying to move on and walk away from all the grief and sadness from losing my Granny last week so it’s been a little tough but I’m getting by. Time is the best wound healer I guess. Hope you’ve been keeping well, Linda. π

I am sorry for your loss Geri. Time does help – I lost my grandma in Nov 2014 and although I still think of her a lot it doesn’t hurt anymore. I can remember her with smiles. Hugs! πππ
