Easy Creamy Cilantro Rice

You know how we love rice…and I’ve already posted a Cilantro Lime Rice that’s a real favorite, but here’s a real quick and easy cilantro rice that’s good in a pinch if you don’t have fresh cilantro or lime. Goya has some really great products…Don’t be afraid to give them a try!

Easy Creamy Cilantro Rice
1/4 cup diced red onion
1-2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup rice (I prefer Jasmine)
3 tablespoons Goya Recaito Culantro Cooking Base
2 cups vegetable stock

In a medium saucepan, heat olive oil on medium-high heat. Saute onion for 5 minutes. Add in garlic and saute another minute. Add the rice and saute a few minutes more. Spoon in the Goya Culantro.

Stir in the vegetable stock; bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 12-15 minutes until rice is tender.

Serve hot!

Enjoy!

  1. Beautiful, I love rice too, and that cilantro past must have sure given it a wonderful aroma and taste. I’m not sure I’ve seen that before though, I see Goya make it, I’ll have to look some more.
