Seasoned Chicken in White Wine

Seasoned Chicken in White Wine
These seasoned chicken thighs are so delicious not to mention tender and juicy! Braised in white wine they almost fall apart when you eat them. The sauce is scrumptious served over rice or potatoes. Believe me, you’ll never look at chicken the same way again!

Seasoned Chicken in White Wine
6-8 boneless chicken thighs
1 teaspoon salt
fresh ground pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/3 cup flour
1-2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon ground thyme
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 cup dry white wine

In a large dish, combine the salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder & oregano with the flour. Heat 1-2 tablespoons olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet on medium-high heat. Using a fork, dip the chicken thighs in the seasoned flour mixture on both sides and place in heated skillet. Cook 5 minutes on each side until nicely browned. Sprinkle in the thyme and parsley then pour in the white wine. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer 30 minutes.

Serve with your favorite sides. Don’t forget to pour that delicious wine broth all over the chicken!

Enjoy!
