It’s Burger Time! These sirloin burgers are topped with a Feta-Garlic Dressing that is to die for! Enjoy!

Sirloin Burgers with Feta-Garlic Dressing
1 1/5 lbs Black Angus ground sirloin
1/2 small vidalia onion, diced
1 teaspoon salt
fresh ground pepper (to taste)
8 fresh sage leaves, chopped
extra virgin olive oil
1 garlic clove, peeled
1/2 cup feta cheese crumbles
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
juice from 1/2 fresh lemon
1 tablespoon sugar
4 hearty but soft buns
cheese (your choice)
lettuce, tomato, onions (optional)

In a bowl, combine the ground sirloin, onion, salt, pepper & sage leaves. Pour on a drizzle of olive oil. Shape into four patties. Heat some oil in a large skillet on high heat. Add burgers and sear for 1-2 minutes; reduce heat and cook additional 3-4 minutes.

Flip burgers over and cook 1-2 minutes on high heat; reduce heat and cook 4-6 minutes until cooked to desired doneness. Meanwhile prepare the Feta-Garlic Dressing. In a food processor, add the garlic, feta, 1/4 cup evoo, lemon juice and sugar. Blend until smooth.

Split the buns and toast lightly. Spoon some Feta-Garlic Dressing on each toasted roll. Place burger and desired cheese on top. Add lettuce and drizzle on some more dressing.

Top with tomato & onion, if desired, then with more Feta-Garlic Dressing and then top bun.

Enjoy!
